Afghan Hound is the second release from Australian duo Manor, comprising Nathaniel Morse and Caitlin Duff.
The follow-up to last year's debut Rhodesia, Afghan Hound was recorded in a Melbourne bedroom, mixed by Ned Cooke (Dappled Cities) with additional production by Lee Groves (Goldfrapp, Elbow) and mastered in Brooklyn by Joe Lambert (Animal Collective, Dirty Projectors.)
A labyrinth of Morse's decaying guitars march to a hypnotic beat, providing the backdrop for Duff's enchanted vocals in a superb slice of transcendental pop.
